Parent Regulations

Parents leaving their child in the hostel for the first time must appreciate that the child will feel uneasy to begin with, but will soon adapt to the new environment. Frequent visits can hinder the settling-in-process. For this reason parents are not permitted to visit their children for the first month following admission.

Parents may call the school office for any query in respect of their child between 10am to 3pm on all days. In case of emergency, they may call any time of day or night. To speak to the House Masters and Hostel Incharges, Parents can call Monday through Friday between 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm. To facilitate easy interaction between the students and parents a special arrangement has been made whereby students can directly call their parents on Sundays and holidays. Students are permitted to call only those telephone numbers which have been endorsed by their parents.

To facilitate an easy access for NRI’s Parents, may call on Mondays between 8.15 pm to 9.15 pm. . House Masters and Hostel Incharges have been authorized to Chairman & Director disconnect lines when calls extend beyond the permissible time limit.

Parents can meet the Principal and the teachers during their visit to School. Best time to meet the teachers is either before the morning prayer, during the short break or immediately after the school at 3.20 pm Monday through Friday and 1:30 to 3:00 . On prior intimation such meeting can also be arranged on Sundays and holidays.

Parents visiting their children in the school shall NOT enter the boarding house premises without prior approval of the House Masters and Hostel Incharges. Boarding Houses are the private abode of the school community and their privacy should not be flouted.

If the Parents desire that their child should not be permitted to meet any person other than those whose photographs are attached in the admission form then they must ensure that a special endorsement is made in the admission form and counter-signed by the.chairman & director / the Principal.

Parents are advised NOT to leave any valuables in the possession of children. If done, the school shall not be responsible for their safety.

Food parcels and tuck are not permitted as these have been found to be source of harrasement for the younger students.

In the interest of the student, correspondence received by him/her will be subject to selective censorship or checking.

All school dues should be paid on due dates. Failing this, a fine @ 2%will be imposed for every delayed instalment.Parents who become consistent defaulters will be asked to withdraw their child/children. Such a practice saps the efficiency of the institute.

The.chairman & director / the Principal can ask the parent to withdraw their child if it is felt that the child’s presence has bad influence on others. The.chairman & director / the principal may also remove a child from the school whose parents/guardian misbehaves with the school staff.

During the winter break all parents are required to visit the school and accompany their children home except the who are traveling under school Arrangement.

Letters regarding fees, accounts, academics, welfare or complaints should be addressed to the chairman & director. In all correspondence, the student’s house number and class must be mentioned.

A clear three months’ notice or three months’ fee in lieu thereof must be given before a pupil can be withdrawn. Transfer certificates other school related documents on withdrawls are not issued until all dues of the school are settled. Parents who intend to withdraw their child for whatever reason must confirm this to school authorities latest by the the fist half march falling which the security will not be refunded. In other cases the security must be claimed within one year of the date of withdrawl.
